The research entitled “The Effects of Skipping Breakfast to the Performance of Senior High School” was conducted in the second semester of S.Y. 2019-2020 under the subject of Research in Daily Life 1.

This research generally aimed to determine the possible effects of skipping breakfast to the students.

            Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What are the reasons why students skip their breakfast?

2. What are the effects of skipping breakfast to the academic performance of students?

3. What are the level of academic performances of students who skip their breakfast?

Differences

1. Doodle Fiction

Doodle Fiction incorporates handwritten graphics in telling the story, it is a literary presentation where the author incorporates doodle drawings and hand written graphics in place of traditional font. Drawings enhance the story, often adding humorous elements that would be missing if the illustrations were omitted.

2. Manga

Manga uses a comic book format presented in panels read from right to left. They are published periodically in Japan. Manga is the Japanese word for comics. It is used in the English-speaking world as a generic term for all comic books and graphic novels originally published in Japan. Manga is considered an artistic and storytelling style. The term “Ameri-Manga” is sometimes used to refer to comics created by American artists in a manga style.

3. Graphic Novel

Graphic Novel uses a comic book format presented in panels and read from left to right. A graphic novel is a narrative work in which the story is conveyed to the reader using comic form. The term is employed in a broad manner, encompassing non-fiction works and thematically linked short stories as well as fictional stories across a number of genres.

Similarities

Lastly, the similarities of Doodle Fiction, Manga, and Graphic Novel. Their same characteristics are: it incorporates drawing, illustrations, or graphics in telling the story.

Conclusion

To sum up, Doodle Fiction, Manga, and Graphic Novels have a lot of similarities and differences but their main purpose is to entertain their readers. That would be all.
